Lucius Verus, 161 - 169. Denar um 162 - 163, Rom. 2.95 g. IMP L AVREL VERVS AVG, Kopf nach rechts. Rv. PROV DEOR - TR P XVI (!) COS III, stehende Providentia mit Globus und Cornucopia (Füllhorn) nach links. RIC vgl. 48 ff. Sehr selten / Very rare. Gutes sehr schön / Good very fine. Feine Tönung, Schrötlingsfehler / Light toning, flan flaw.
Die Datierung "TR P XVI" paßt nicht zu Lucius Verus, sondern gehört zu einer Prägung des Marcus Aurelius. Es handelt sich hierbei also um eine Stempelverwechslung.
