Italien. Bronzegussplakette o. J. (wohl 2. Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts), unsigniert. 459.35 g. Auf die Bacchanalien. Einseitig: Sitzender Bacchus mit Weinschale und Rebe fast von vorne, umgeben von tanzenden Satyren und Nymphen, im Vordergrund halten zwei Cupidines einen runden Schild (?) mit der Protome eines Ziegenbocks, umher Zierrand. ca 142 / 146 mm. Rückseitig Sammlungsnummer "342" und alter Klebezettel mit weiterer Sammlungsnummer "557". Pechstein, Bronzen and Plaketten, Nr. 266 f. Späterer Guss, wohl des 19. Jahrhunderts / Later cast, probably 19th century. Sehr schön-vorzüglich / Very fine-Extremely fine. Rotbraune Patina, rückseitige angegossene Hängeöse / Reddish brown patina, original hanging loop on the back.
Das Original könnte auch in den Niederlanden entstanden sein.
