Coudenhove-Kalergi, Graf Johann Evangelist, geb. 1893, gest. 1956, Herr von Ronsperg, Stockau, Dianahof. Silbermedaille 1917. 29.60 g. Stempel von A. Hartig. Büste mit Militärkragen nach rechts. Rv. Wappen auf gekröntem Wappenmantel, darunter Igel. Geriffelter Rand. 43.6 mm. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz / Extremely fine-uncirculated. Kleiner Randfehler / Minor edge flaw.
Der Graf entstammt väterlicherseits aus dem brabantischem Haus Coudenhove und mütterlicherseits aus dem byzantinisch-kretischen Adelsgeschlecht Kalergi. Die Familie war allerdings auf Schloss Ronsperg in Tschechien ansässig. Sein Vater Heinrich Graf von Coudenhove-Kalergi sprach 16 Sprachen und war mit der Japanerin Mitsuko Maria Thekla verheiratet. Johann Evangelist Virgilio Graf Coudenhove-Kalergi, auch Kotaro genannt, war mit Lilly Steinschneider, einer der ersten Pilotinnen Österreichs, verheiratet.
